Privacy policy

Nuvyi (“we”, “us”) runs a marketplace where brands pay everyday Instagram users to share sponsored posts, and pay only for views verified with Instagram data. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to nuvyi.com and to the Nuvyi app.
What we collect
- Waitlist details: your name, email, Instagram handle, city and, if you add it, a WhatsApp number. For brands: company name, category, budget range and your message.
- Instagram data, when you connect your account: your Instagram user ID, username, account type, profile picture, follower count, and the media and insights (such as views, reach and audience breakdowns) of posts you publish through Nuvyi. We access this through Meta’s official Instagram API with your permission.
- Payout details: the wallet or account you choose for payouts.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and fraud prevention.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the launch and onboard you.
- To match people with suitable campaigns.
- To verify views on campaign posts, calculate earnings and bill brands.
- To publish a post to your account, only when you approve it.
- To detect fraud and keep the marketplace fair.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We never read your direct messages, we never post without your approval, and we never sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- Brands see the public handle and the verified results of posts made for their campaigns, plus aggregated audience data. They do not receive your contact details or payout information.
- Service providers who host and run Nuvyi for us (for example hosting, database and email providers), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
- Payment providers, to send payouts you request.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until launch and for up to 12 months after, unless you become a user. We keep account and campaign data while your account is active and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards. Instagram data is deleted within 30 days of you disconnecting your account or asking us to delete it, except records we must keep for billing.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing the email people should write to. You can also disconnect Nuvyi from Instagram in your Instagram settings under Apps and websites. See how to delete your data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and Instagram access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers.
Where data is stored
Our providers may store data outside Lebanon, including in the European Union and the United States. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.
Children
Nuvyi is only for people aged 18 and over.
